I am not my mouth: A Poetry Collection (thesis)
I have spent the last six months thinking about what it means to tell a story. In my creative writing thesis, I wanted to explore poetry and its strengths and weaknesses as a mode of communication. I’ve been writing poetry since the 6th grade with some dry patches here and there. The opportunity to write forty poems in under a year seemed like just the project to culminate my creative and critical studies of English over the past four years.
